A little about me
I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Veronica, coach and owner of VB Fitness.
I wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about how I got to where I am today. I’ve been in the fitness industry for 10+ years ranging from competitive soccer, bikini competitions, to now helping other women transform their life!
From a young age, fitness has always been a huge part of my life. I dipped my toes into multiple sports growing up but my love for soccer was always number 1. I played for about 14 years until it was time to hang up my cleats during my last year of varsity soccer. When my soccer career came to an end, I knew I needed a new challenge which is when my athletic interest shifted more into body building! I competed in 3 bikini competitions between 2015 and 2016 which opened up a whole new chapter in my journey. I was someone who was always very dedicated to my goals, however, after going through multiple challenges and weight fluctuations with competing, I just couldn’t figure out the balance part afterwards. This naturally resulted in yo-yo dieting, high stress, amplified anxiety, depression and a damaged relationship with food.
Through many years of ups and downs, I started to pay close attention to how I was feeling when I fueled my body properly on a daily basis. I started working out again for the enjoyment of it rather than punishment, and I began to rebuild my relationship with myself and with food. Fast forward 5 years and many conversations with women on their own journey, I realized that the negative mindset around the gym and food is still incredibly common.
This inspired me to start VB Fitness - a business that specializes in helping women overcome the all or nothing mindset, build muscle, lose fat, gain knowledge around nutrition and the gym, improve their mental health, and learn to love moving their body, all while being apart of a supportive, empowering community.
Having taken multiple approaches to fitness, I’m aware it looks different for everyone. My focus is now aimed more towards maintaining a healthy, balanced lifestyle and as your coach, my goal is to help you do the same! We will find a plan that’s sustainable for you, works with your schedule and that you actually ENJOY!
